Missio the alternative electronic rock due is on the US tour and on March 9th the stop was in Philadelphia at the Fillmore (Foundry). The tour is supported by Layto and he definitely has quite a good fan base in Philly. Layto kicked off the night at 8 with just him and his drummer. He delivered a good start for the night with his presence and music that has the essence of hip-hop, techno, pop, and even rock. I like it when artists share their personal stories and address mental health issues – Layto did not shy away from that. Next up it was Missio – the band consisted of the duo – Matthew Brue and David Butler. The energy of the multi-instrumentalist duo was contagious to the fans. But we definitely have to mention the touring musicians - Scott Garrett Graham on the guitar and Joey Castro on the power-packed drums. The performance of the band was something to definitely look out for. The due addressed the topic of “Addition” in a different light and also spoke about important matters through the music or between the music. The setlist consisted of songs like – “Twisted”, “Sing to Me” and “Everybody Gets High". Overall it was a great show and shoutout to the organizers, publicists, and venue for the successful execution.
