The Chaos and Carnage tour is back with an unbeatable lineup this year. Similar to last year were in Reading, PA to catch the tour live. This year was a blend of Heavy Metal genres - The Legends of Death Metal, Dying Fetus, Extreme Metal Icons, Cradle of Filth, Syphonic death metal band Fleshgod Apocalypse, Progressive Metal band Ne Obliviscaris, and many more. The night was kicked off by the Brutal Death metal band Corpse Pile from Texas. It was an blasting start of the night with songs like “reality” and “F*ck your life”. Next up was Connecticut’s very own death metal band Vomit Forth. The band just took the energy of the room to another level with songs like “Rotting Wool”, “Pain Tolerance”. From Connecticut to NY Death Metal - it was Undeath who took the stage next, and the audience responded with the constant flow of crowdsurfers. One of the talked-about new bands of the genre performed songs like “Lesions of Different Kind”, “Brandish the Blade”. From the US Death metal, we move on to the Australian Progressive Metal band - Ne Obliviscaris. The band took the sound of the genre to another level by using a violin and use of clean & harsh vocals. The setlist was the perfection of musical excellence with songs like “Equus”, “And Plague Flowers the Kaleidoscope”. From Australia we now go to Italy to witness the Symphonic Death metal band - FleshGod Apocalypse. The presence of the band on stage was exceptional, with the attire, a grand piano, A big Italian Flag, and operatic vocals of Veronica Bordacchini. They performed all their famous numbers like “The Fool”, “The Violation”. Next was one of the Iconic English extreme metal bands of the present time - Cradle of Filth. Every member of the band has their unique presence, be it Marek "Ashok" Šmerda on the guitar or Martin "Marthus" Škaroupka on the drums, or Zoe Marie Federoff on the keys, but the crowd burst into screams when Dani Filth took the stage with all his glory. The band performed all the songs with Dani’s iconic screams that blended with musical excellence by the other members, with songs like “She is a Fire”, “Malignant Perfection”, Her Ghost in the Fog”. Finally,y the stage of cleared with just a Drum set and two mic stands. That was all needed for the destruction that was created by legendary Dying Fetus. John Gallagher on guitar, Sean Beasley on Bass, and Trey Williams on drums did what they do best - just perform one song after another with absolute perfection. I fans reciprocated with crowd surfing, and ultimate moshing in the middle of the hall. The setlist of the night consisted of all the iconic hits like “Grotesque Impalement”, “Subjected to a Beating”, and “Killing on Adrenaline”. Overall, it was a great night for all the fans of heavy metal music, and we will be waiting for next year for what the tour will bring. Finally, a big shoutout to the Tour organizers, Venue, and management for the exceptional execution of the show.
