It was Deth Metal mayhem in Philly on the night of October 19th led by Iconic Dying Fetus accompanied by The Acacia Strain, Despised Icon, Creeping Death, and Chamber. This was part of Dying Fetus’s North American tour “Make Them Beg for Death” which started 2 days ago on 10/17. The month-long tour that ends in Baltimore on 11/18 touches major cities from the East Coast to the West Coast. The night started with the Nashville band Chamber with songs heavy enough to set the night's tone. Moshing started from the very first song. Up next it was Creeping death and what energy the band brought. With Songs like “Boundless Domain”, and “The Common Breed” they definitely left some deep marks. After that, it was Despised Icon from Canada. The deathcore band is very unique with the sound that they create and its double vocals. Their setlist consisted of - “Purgatory”, “In the arms of Perdition”, and “Doomed”. Acacia Strain hit the stage next and the crowd went crazy. It was a constant flow of crowd surfers and unstoppable moshing in the middle. Vincent Bennett is a powerhouse - constantly moving from one side to the other side of the stage, interacting with the audience during all songs, and even spraying water at them. Though their main drummer Matt Guglielmo could not perform and was filled in by Terrance Pettitt, Tarrance absolutely killed it. Matt made an appearance during one of the songs and performed with Vincent. The setlist consisted of - “Carbomb”, “Crossgates”, and “Chain”. Finally, the stage was cleared and set for the legendary Dying Fetus. One thing that was common in all the previous performances was all of the bands mentioned what influence that Dying Fetus has on them. The 3 part band consisting of - Trey Williams on the Drums, Sean Beasley on the Bass and Vocals, and John Gallagher on the guitar and Vocals were absolutely legendary on stage. The amazing part to witness was how calm and composed the band was while performing some heaviest and darkest songs possible. The audience went totally engrossed in the music and the moshing continued.  Overall the night was a treat for the fans and we definitely encourage all to catch them live while they are touring. Big shoutout to the management, Publicist team, and organizers for successful execution.
