One of the most important vocalists of Heavy metal - Chad Gray of Mudvayne and Hellyeah is touring north America to celebrate his 30 year long career. The tour is supported by Butcher Babies and Devils Cut. On September 14th, the stop was at the Theatre of Living Arts in Philly. It was night for the fans to celebrate the career of a legend. The night started with Devils cut to give a perfect kick start for the the night. When Butcher Babies took the state the energy went to the roof. Heidi Shepherd is a vocalist who not only dominates through her voice but also her stage presence. There were times when who jumped out of the stage to interact with the audiance - at a point she went in the middle of the mosh pit. Henry Flury as one of the founding member of the band in guitar, acoompanied by Sean Violet on the Bass and Dave Nickles on teh drums performed songs like - “Blame it on the Wind”, “Backstreets of Tennessee” and “Magnolia Blvd.”.
Finally it was time for the final act of the night - Chad Gray took the stage. The interesting part was how Chad did his make up for the night. Half his face was his look from Mudvayne and the other half is clear with a white contact lens. He looks menacing, intresting, and all other adjectives that makes him who he is. He did not shy away from sharing a very personal story of how he is going through a vocal treatment. All the fans and us wish him a quick recovery from it. Chad with his touring members Joe Bonasorte and Marcus Rafferty on the guitars, Nick Villarreal on the Bass and 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐝 on the Drums performed hit numbers from both Mudvayne and Hellyeah like - “Moth”, “Happy?”, “Love Falls” and “Dig”. Overall it was an absolute fun night and we thank the management, organizers and venue for successful execution of the show.
