Third Eye Blind, one of the iconic rock bands from the 90s is on the North American tour with Yellowcard and ARIZONA. On July 12th the stop was in Camden, NJ at the Freedom Mortgage Pavilion. Fans of Pop Punk Rock flooded into the venue to experience the music. The night started with New Jersey’s very own band “Arizona”. It was a perfect start of the night by the 3 member band alongside their touring drummer. The sound was interesting with the essence of electronic elements and the setlist consisted of songs like - “Oceans Away”, “Nostalgic”, “Freaking Out”, and “I Was Wrong”. Next up it was Yellowcard and we could tell that a big fan base came to see them live. The band which stands out in the pop-punk genre with the use of Violin by Sean Mackin took the energy of the venue to a different level. Alongside Sean Ryan Key on the vocals and guitar, Josh Portman on the Bass, Ryan Mandez on the lead guitar, and the touring drummer Jimmy Brunkvist put up a great show with a setlist consisting of songs like - “Lights and Sounds”, “Only One” and one of their most famous songs “Ocean Avenue”. Finally, the stage was set with dark silhouette and light beams to bring Third Eye Blind on the stage. Colin Creev on the keyboards started the tune and Alex LeCavalier on the bass, Brad Hargreaves on the drums and Kryz Reid on the lead guitar joined in. Eventually, Stephan Jenkins came to the stage to start the night with “Motorcycle Drive By”. The energy of the band with the lights and smoke created an environment that was out of the world and you could tell from the fans who were singing all the songs word by word - “Jumper”, “Never Let You Go”, and “Graduate”. Though we thought that “Semi-Charmed Life” would be the song to end the night, they came back for the encore “How’s It Going to Be”. Overall the show was an absolute treat for the fans and a shoutout to the management, publicist, organizer, and the venue for successful execution.
