British rock band Asking Alexandria brought a wave of nostalgia to Philadelphia’s Theatre of Living Arts (TLA) during the second leg of their "All My Friends" U.S. tour. Kicking off the night was Archers, setting the stage with their high-energy performance. For many in the audience, the night was a trip down memory lane, especially with supporting acts Memphis May Fire and The Word Alive, both of whom were pivotal in shaping part of the music scene. Growing up going to shows at the TLA, fans were eager to relive their youth with these bands, and the energy in the venue was electric.
Asking Alexandria delivered a powerful set, blending their newer material with iconic tracks from their debut album Stand Up and Scream. Songs like “The Final Episode,” “A Prophecy,” and “If You Can’t Ride Two Horses at Once… You Should Get Out of the Circus” ignited the crowd, with everyone screaming along to every word. The band’s performance was tight and energetic, showcasing their growth over the years while still capturing the raw essence that made them a staple in the genre.
For many, it felt like a homecoming—an unforgettable night where the past met the present, and the bonds formed through music over a decade ago were reignited.
