Iconic Thrash Metal band Death Angel is touring North America to celebrate one of their most popular albums, Act III. On May 19th, the stop was at The Queen in Wilmington, Delaware. It was a celebration of Thrash Metal music with 2 other bands - Incite and Vio-Lence. The night started with Incite from Phoenix, AZ. The band is led by Richie Cavalera, stepson of legendary Max Cavalera. Richie is a powerhouse of energy. The band’s sound is true to the genre, and they made sure the night kicks off with groovy songs like “Feel the shit (I’m fired up)”, “No Mercy No forgiveness”. Next up, it was Vio-Lence - one of the most important names from the Bay Area thrash metal scene. The band’s front man, Sean Killian, was supported by Nick Souza on the drums, Ira Black and Claudeous Creamer on the guitars, and Jeff Salgado on the Bass. They made the audience headbang on songs like “Eternam Nightmare” and “World in a World”. Finally, it was time for Death Angel to take the stage, and from the get-go, the energy transcended to the fans. Rob Cavestany on the vocals, Rob Cavestany and Ted Aguilar on the guitars, Damien Sisson on the bass, and Will Carroll on the drums showed why classic thrash metal is still relevant after so many years. Mark Osegueda is an iconic frontman, and his presence is something that any fan will love to witness live. The band made sure to perform all the songs of ACT III and some more. Overall, it was a night to celebrate classic thrash metal, and we suggest that any metal fans catch them live to experience that. Finally, a big shoutout to the management, publicist, and the venue for the successful execution of the event.
