Still waiting for an animal collective reunion? Well keep waiting like the rest of us. However I do recommend seeing their solo projects at least once while they are all actively touring. As long time listener of Animal Collective seeing their solo sets feels like an intimate one on one session to highlight their own creativity. A night full of “oh that was probably your idea to do that in that song” although Deakin (Josh) hasn’t fully severed his ties with AnCo he has definitely curated his own fan base as he continues his tour across the North East. He also mentioned that he has completed his second studio album that he is incredibly excited to release. Deakin has home in Philadelphia and we wish him the best of luck
