Bringing that fast-paced San Diego rock n’ roll to Philly on a Wednesday night is exactly what you need to get through the work week. Their electric stage presence and pure energy bleeds out into the crowd every show, which leaves you no choice but to move your feet and start dancing. The Schizophonics are currently on the Burning Floor Tour across America until the end of October.
They are accompanied by the one and only Dale Crover of the legendary band Melvins to open up each show. The frontman, mostly known for his incredible drum work over the past 3-4 decades, Dale is performing his solo acoustic project on this tour. This performance brought his passionate grunge energy with each strum of the guitar and vocal note that was sung.
This performance was the perfect recipe for a great, vibrant show, with two incredible acts bringing a slightly different style of music, yet working so well together. A slower, more grungy start to get your head bobbing, followed by the quickness of blues rock n’ roll to keep your body moving for the rest of the night. All in all, the vibes were immaculate-10/10, no notes!
