One of the most experimental hard rock bands, Clutch, is touring North America alongside Tyler Bryant & the Shakedowns and Nate Bergman. On June 14th, the stop was at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA. The night started with Nate Nergman with his great voice and flavors of folk, rock, and country music to set the tone for the night. After that, it was Tyler Bryant and the Shakedowns to rock the stage. Tyler Bryant, the Grammy-winning guitar player, showed how skillful the playing can be and how the vibe transcends to the audience. The band has influences from Blues Rock with it’s Nashville roots that make the sound interesting. The band performed songs like “On to the Next”, “Lipstick Wonder Woman”. Finally, the stage was ready for the final act, and even though it was a sitting event, each one of the audiance stood up for the great Clutch. Tim Sult of the Guitar, Dan Maines on the Bass, Jean-Paul Gaster on the drums and Neil Fallon on the drums have been with the band since 1991 and knows how to take the audance to a nostalgia trip of the 90’s with songs like - “Electric Worry”, “Spacegrass”, and “the Regulator”. Neil Fallon is some character on stage, it is absolute fun to see him perform. With each song, they proved why they are such legends and pioneers of the genre “Stoner Rock”. Overall, it was a great night and a big shoutout to the Organizers, management and venue for successful execution of the show.
