MMRBQ is one of the biggest Rock festivals in and around Philly. The event hosted in Freedom Mortgage Camden NJ has hosted the greatest bands like Alice in Chains, Jane’s Addiction, Disturbed, Ghost, The Struts etc. This year the lineup was really great with performers like - Billy Idol, Larkin Poe, Ayron Jones, Finger Eleven and to end the night with Shinedown. Fans were all there to see consecutive bands and they were not disappointed. We were there to see Shinedown perform as the closing act and it was hot with fire and firecrackers. Brent Smith on the vocals, Zach Myers on the guitar, Eric Bass on the Bass and Piano, and Barry Kerch on the drums were a force to be reckoned with. The energy of the band was unmatchable. There was a time when Zach literally was on top of the piano that Eric was playing. The Pyrotechnics and Fireworks took the ambiance to a whole different level. They performed songs from the newest album “Planet Zero”, also their biggest hits like - “Second Chance”, “Sound of Madness”, “Cut the Chord”, and “45”. They even did covers like - Jimmy Eat World’s “The Middle”, and Lynyrd Skynyrd’s “Simple Man”. Overall it was a great show by the band and was an excellent wrap for the day. Big thanks to the organizers and management for this grand execution of the festival.
