One of the most important and politically aware rock bands from the early '90s, Garbage is touring North America. On September 16th, the stop was in Philadelphia’s Franklin Music Hall with the support of Starcrawler. The night began with LA’s glam rock band, Starcrawler, featuring some great performances. It was a great start to the night, and on the last song, the guitarist went into the audience. Garbage was next with the consistent lineup since the beginning - Shirley Manson on the vocals, Duke Erikson on the Guitars, Steve Marker on the guitar and keys, and Butch Vig on the drums. Supporting them was Nicole Fiorentino on the Bass. Each of the musicians with their own personalities on the stage with their own musical excellence - it was just a treat for the audiance. Shirley Manson is a star in her own right and for obvious reasons - no wonder the New York Times has named her “Godmother of Rock”. “The Happy Ending” tour was to celebrate the band’s new album “Let All That We Imagine Be the Light” and they did performed songs from the album. The setlist consisted of other great tracks like - “I Think I’m Paranoid”, “Only Happy When It Rains”, and “Stupid Girls”. The tour will be going on until November and we highly recommend to catch them live. Finally, kudos to the organizers, management and the venue for successfully putting up the show.
