One of the most iconic guitar players of his generation Jerry Cantrell is on tour promoting his new album “I Want Blood”. The long tour had its stop at the Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA on the night of February 8th. The tour is supported by one of the important names of Industrial Metal - Filter. It was a full house at the Xcite center of Parx to witness one of the genre-defining musicians of Grunge and the founding member of Alice in Chains. The night started with Filter for a 30-minute compact set of Industrial Post Grunge Metal. Richard Patrick, the frontman of the band took center stage and delivered a perfect start for the night. With songs like “Take a Picture”, “Hey Man Nice Shot” and even songs from their latest album “The Algorithm”, the audience thoroughly enjoyed the performance. Next up the stage was set for the final and main act. Jerry with his band consisting of great musicians like - Roy Mayorga on the drums, Zach Throne on the guitars, Eliot Lorango on the Bass, and Greg Puciato on the vocals. Jerry took charge on the center stage with his vocals and guitar with all his glory. For the next 90 minutes, the audience had to be on their toes and get up from their seat. The band performed songs from the new album “I Want Blood”, some of the great numbers like “Afterglow”, and “Cut You In”. As everyone was expecting the band also performed some of the legendary Alice in Chains songs like - “Them Bones”, “Man in the Box”, “Would?”, “Rooster”. It was truly a great night and a great opportunity for the fans to witness a true legend. Catch the tour live as it sails through March.
